Activities - Generalities

A summer school is going to be organised in Iasi, Romania, from 22 until 29 July 2012. The participants to the summer school are going to be a number of 100 students or university graduates, resident in one of the EU countries or Western Balkans countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo under UN Security Council Resolution 1244, Montenegro, The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Serbia), with ages between 18 and 30. A special attention will be given to the applicants who are volunteers or employees of NGOs in the limit of 20 places. All the participants to the summer school are going to be trained for becoming EU Ambassadors. In this position they will inform other co-nationals about the enlargement of the EU towards Balkans states. For more details see the section Ambassadors’ campaign and Application procedure.
